fortune cookies... ? cute, he thought with an amused smirk; appreciative of the nostalgic harkening to his birthplace. the crunchy cookies that came with americanized take-out were traditionally rather bland in flavor, thus were popular more for the novelty of the 'prophetic' messages they contained . . . but he was sure that ara will have put a personal touch in them— and with her intervention, they would taste better than any he'd known, back home. that was just like her; ( she took his past, and shaped it into something much better . . . ) though her hand-written note does reminds him of more recent past days; him slipping surprise gifts and sheets of paper into her textbooks, or her bags full of stationary. usually he'd only jot down some silly little thing, cute or flirtatious, for her to find throughout her day and giggle at. he hoped it would make her tough classes a little softer on her . . . ( but occasionally, they'd be sincere and heart-bled love notes, scribbled like a psalm, to remind her how dearly and passionately he loved her . . . ) he cracked open a cookie with a satisfying crunch, and cracked a smile, too. first, he picked up the pen, and added his own signature flair to her note; a line is scratched through the word 'happy', which was then replaced with 'hoppy', and decorated with a doodle of a chubby, fluffy bunny nearby . . . he spent a few minutes perfecting his drawing, before he put the pen down, content with his artwork. her words ( 'come and read them' ) read like a challenge... or an invitation. so when he's done, it's the beginning of a game of hide and seek through the many halls of their home, so much more spacious than it used to be. it was full of places to hide— though they never had to hide from each other, did they? no, not really; only for fun. but when it wasn't a game, his heart was fully open to ara, down to it's deepest, darkest crevasses; and alternately to the most tender, vulnerable parts, where no-one else had ever touched. ( it's what made love so dangerous: the exposed arteries that could be pricked by your lovers' sharp claws, whether they meant to cut you or not . . . ) but he trusts her not to. he trusts her completely . . . and sweeps her into his arms from behind when he finds her, hoping to hear happiness in her voice. kisses rained against her cheek and graceful neck, as arms wrapped around her waist. " thanks for the cookies, fortune-teller, but I already know my destiny . . . it's you. " his embrace tightened and warmed around her, and he nuzzled against the curve of her in a sway. it was such a strong hold, certain about her. no, she wasn't his destiny just because a cookie ( or even his own instinct ) told him so . . . it was because he chose it. " I want you, forever, Ara. " and find his destiny in her lips he did; indulged slowly in her like the sweetest breakfast; no cookie could compare.

okay so i knew about skz for a long long time, probably since i first got into kpop and stanned only bts in 2021. i mean they're like the second biggest boy group after bts probably so they were everywhere lol

i didn't really get into them but i did learn their faces and names just naturally over time. and i listened to some of their title tracks like maniac, back door, thunderous, and god's menu i think?? in 2022 i watched their studio chooms bcuz i love studio choom and actually get into a lot of groups from studio choom lmao

it was hyunjin's aotm that made me want to check out more stray kids and he became my first bias in skz as well around summer 2022 <3 in late july/early august 2022 i met @eternalgyu and she... made me watch your eyes 🤓 she knew what she was doing and she didn't warn me at all 🤓 also at that time i might have changed my bias to han im not sure i think i did... i was also rly a baby stay still at that time like a week before i met her was the first time i listened to red lights lmao 😭

so then i watched your eyes and like died... and hannie gave me some more songs to listen to. i watched some more content and casually stanned them. maxident was oct 2022 and it was my first cb with skz and by then i was a seungmin bias along w han as a second bias <3

sometime in 2022 or early 2023 i asked my friend axe to give me some b-side recs bcuz stray kids' discography is rly big and scary lmao 😭😭 so that was very helpful for getting to know their music more <3

i think around summer 2023 i started to stan skz a little less. i still like them and their music, but some stays were a bit meh for me 😭😭 all my mootsies who are stays are awesome tho <33 i also stanned kim woojin in that time and seeing how stays treated him in the past was... disgusting 🧍‍♀️

but to answer your other question about favourite bside!! i would have to say mixtape : oh, haven, fnf, collision, and charmer are all songs i adore... if i had to pick one probably fnf!!
